This year has felt extra special. Organize You Inside and Out officially turned ten, and reaching that milestone made me pause and reflect on how far this journey has come.
Eleven years ago, I didn’t even know this industry existed. I never imagined I would be organizing homes and helping people simplify their lives. But God knew the direction long before I did, and He gently guided me toward this calling.
I am thankful for the moment God prompted me to get my own life in order—every part of it. At the time, I had no idea it was preparing me for something greater.
I’ve also learned that being “busy” often means being burdened under satan’s yoke. Once I understood that, the word no longer had a place in my life. Removing it has helped me live with more intention and clarity.

One of the most surprising parts of my organizing journey was the abundance that came when I finally let go of clutter and chaos.
The greatest gift I received was time — time for myself and for the people I love.
💫 Time for Myself
This is when my spiritual life truly came alive! I finally had time to slow down and spend quiet moments in prayer — something that continues to bless me every day.
My physical health improved, too. I started exercising, cooking healthy meals, and even reading again. I found the energy and creativity to create content for my clients, post on social media, and even write a book!
The gift of time appeared once I stopped living like a hamster on a wheel. Survival mode was no longer my default — each day had meaning and purpose again.
💞 Time for Others
We were created to live in connection with others — and real relationships take time. Once I learned to slow down and be present, I began building deeper connections with my family and friends.

There’s one thing I’ve learned in my own organizing journey — and in helping others — and that is messiness will always be around. It’s not the enemy; it’s a natural part of life. What separates the truly organized from the constantly overwhelmed is simply how we manage it. 💪
Here are five ways to manage the messy, whether you’ve been organized forever or you’re just starting your journey:
1️⃣ DO NOT PANIC!
All is not lost with a little messiness. Panic is an emotional reaction that steals your ability to think clearly.
🧘♀️ Take a breath and remind yourself — you’re not messy, the space is messy. This is temporary.
2️⃣ Go Back to Your “WHY”
Your why is the foundation of your organization journey.
Why did you want to live organized in the first place? 💭
Sit with that question until you remember the answer — it’s hidden right there in the messiness.
3️⃣ Reset Your Systems
Living organized happens in seasons. 🌤️
It’s totally normal to reset your systems from time to time — for exam...
