What I Am Thankful For This Year

Celebrating 10 Years of Organize You Inside and Out

This year has felt extra special. Organize You Inside and Out officially turned ten, and reaching that milestone made me pause and reflect on how far this journey has come.

Eleven years ago, I didn’t even know this industry existed. I never imagined I would be organizing homes and helping people simplify their lives. But God knew the direction long before I did, and He gently guided me toward this calling.

A Wake-Up Call I Didn’t Expect

I am thankful for the moment God prompted me to get my own life in order—every part of it. At the time, I had no idea it was preparing me for something greater.

I’ve also learned that being “busy” often means being burdened under satan’s yoke. Once I understood that, the word no longer had a place in my life. Removing it has helped me live with more intention and clarity.

The People Behind the Mission

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for my husband’s steady support. Leaving a stable healthcare job ten years ago may not have made sense on paper, and he may have wondered what I was thinking—but he never once said it. His quiet encouragement has been one of my greatest blessings.

I am also thankful for my family and close friends who have supported this business in many meaningful ways. Watching this work bless not only clients but those who help me has been an added joy.

(And yes, my grown sons are truly minimalists—they live the organized lifestyle every day!)

The Clients Who Became Friends

My heart is full of gratitude for every person I’ve had the privilege of working with over the past decade. Whether it's organizing one space or an entire home, it is always humbling to be invited into someone’s personal space and entrusted with their journey.

I especially love it when clients reach out later and say,
“You would be so proud of me because ______.”
The truth is, I was already proud of them the moment they made the call.

Some clients have gone through life changes or losses after we worked together, and those moments stay with me. Once someone becomes a client, they truly become part of our extended organizing family. I believe God brings each person into our path with intention—there are no accidents.

A Heart Full of Gratitude

As this tenth anniversary year comes to a close, I am filled with appreciation for every person who has been part of this journey. This little business grew through relationships, faith, purpose, and the desire to help people live with more peace and less clutter.

Looking ahead, I’m excited for what God has planned in the coming year—new opportunities, new stories, and more people to support in simplifying their lives.
