LOOKING FOR MOTIVATION.....

I listen to people all the time talk about their lack of motivation. I wonder if they really know what it means. It is the difference between thought and action. It's that inner fire that drives you to act! Some people have it, some have lost it temporarily and some people don't have it.

How do you get it????????
The answer lies in POSITIVITY!!!!
Think about how you feel when you are in a foul mood. You probably don't feel like doing anything. That's because your emotion has taken over and distracted you.

Positive thinking=Positive action=MOTIVATION

Happiness increases productivity. So, let's start thinking optimistically today! I'm not suggesting that optimism means you have to put on a fake smile, skip around singing happy songs because that would be....weird!
I am suggesting you begin by finding positive, inspirational thoughts to read. If you only find one, GREAT! I am also suggesting you lose the negative people from you inner circle because that negativity stuff is contagious. In addition, I want you to begin and end each day with a positive thought. This may sound silly but what I'm really trying to get you to do is create positive environment. This is essential for you to move forward on this path.

Another way to get motivation is to set a small goal and complete it. This is a tremendously powerful action. There is no shame in this being so small that I may not recognize it to be a success. It's most important that you know it to be a successful goal. If it is something meaningful to you the progress made is powerful. This also becomes the motivator for future successes. 

5 Motivational thieves:

Exhaustion-takes away all of your focus.
Frustration-allows you to be talked out of anything good!
Boredom-you have to mix it up to keep it fresh and developing.
Busyness-to the point that you have nothing to show for it but used up time.
Technological distractions- really hinder your motivation. Limit the use of your cell phone and watch how fast you reach your goal!

I hope that you will become well versed in recognizing these thieves for what they are so that you can ward them off.
